Paying and Getting Paid

Being paid as a voice over and paying talents as a client is one of the most challenging moments of the process of selling and buying voice over recordings. We usually recommend the usage of tools like PayPal ( and splitting the payment 50-50: The client pays 50% of the price of the project to the talent to start working on it, and 50% when the audio has been successfully delivered by the talent. We recently sent a newsletter to talents in reference to this topic: Newsletter.

We would like to get your feedback. What payment methodologies do you use? What would be the ideal scenario for you? Is there anyway you think Voice123 may be able to help you pay talents and get paid by the clients?
